I got it right away. Only had to read once.. Usually its hard for me to remember stuff... But this one is pretty much reminding you common sence common courtesy
This book taught me how to write a resume that will get noticed and it has. Very easy to read and understand.
I believe it will be very helpful with rewriting my resume and cover letter. Additionally, the author has provided helpful assistance with sending the PDF version. The TOC was not readily visible to me on my kindle edition. However, the TOC and index are cover everything I needed to search for. Definitely a must have if you must do a resume quickly.
I do volunteer work and this was a great refresher
I'm retired but had the opportunity to peruse this guide and immediately forwarded the link to a granddaughter for her future reference. Thank you Mark for offering this goldmine of hints.
This ebook is organized into several parts, all of which are quite interesting. The first is general resume writing tips. If you're just putting together your first resume, these are particularly helpful. Even if you already have a resume, some of the tips might help you to clean up your sales pitch. The second part are three special reports that discuss the jobs most in demand, optimal places to work, and a focus on the future job market. While short, I really found these to be useful. Finally, the third part is the hundreds of sample resumes - please note, they are not included in the ebook (probably due to the high download cost if they were part of the file). Rather, at the back of the book is a code to login to the website to download the sample resumes (as a pdf file). Overall, very helpful ebook, and the sample resumes provide useful examples of what different resumes might look like for dozens of different careers.
I'm tired of being duped into paying for e-books that turn out to be nothing more than passive income schemes. This book is not worth the download.
First of all, the author advocates for including an objective statement with every resume. Anybody that knows even a little bit about resume-writing knows this is an outdated strategy.
The templates look horrible. You're better off looking online. I'm trying to get a refund. All those 5 star reviews must be from the author's friends... Or maybe they were paid for. Either way, this is not worth the buy.
